Osondu web site and Osondu Newsletter are publications of the Biafra Memorial Project (BMP) Committee. The BMP Committee is made up of committed individuals who are desirous to heal the wounds of the traumatic experiences of the Nigerian civil war through implementation of projects that can bring a satisfactory closure to the bitter leftovers of the Biafran era. The BMP Committee is not a bona fide organization but the group prefers to collaborate with established organizations that are interested in implementing projects that are akin to those of the BMP. The BMP Committee coordinates its activities with other think-tank groups to delineate practical methodologies to promote rapid rehabilitation of Igbo interests by achieving peaceful reconciliation of Nigerians of all ethnocultural backgrounds.

The BMP Committee is based in Washington DC metropolitan area of the US and also has a home-based unit that is operational throughout the Southeast zone of Nigeria. In the coming months, the BMP Committee will cast its net to cover entire Nigeria through its publications and implementation of the noble objectives of the Osondu Foundation, Inc.
