Igbo Foundation USA, Inc. (PNF USA, Inc.) on Friday, May 7, 2004
and Saturday, May 8, 2004 respectively at Sheraton Dallas Brookhollow
Hotel, 1247 W. Mockingbird, Dallas, Texas 75247 USA. The hotel's
phone number is (214) 630-7000. PNF USA, Inc. is a platform for
the articulation, development, promotion, and protection of the
common/political interests of Ndi Igbo, in particular and Nigeria,
theme of the Pan Igbo Conference is: "Realigning
Our Economic, Political, and Socio Cultural Agenda: A Panacea for
Economic and Political Empowerment". The workshop
sessions would offer the participants the opportunity to discuss
how to build collective economic and political capacity. Also, issues
relating to Igbo unity and progress in deriving a consensus Igbo
agenda will be thoroughly discussed. The preliminary session is
scheduled on Friday, May 7, 2004 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Other
sessions will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The conference
will be culminated with a communiqué on Sunday, May 9, 2004
and other subsequent activities.
Saturday, May 8, 2004, there will be "Women Recognition Awards
Gala". PNF USA would use this opportunity to recognize the
significant contributions women have made toward maintaining political
units such as, family, local, state, and federal governments. The
Women Recognition Awards Gala is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
